Is the Diamond Soul Work the same as A.H.Almaas’ Diamond Approach Work?

No, it isn’t. You can only do the Diamond Approach Work with ordained teachers of the Diamond Approach. But because the teachings of A.H.Almaas are both the ground of the Diamond Approach Work and deeply inform the Diamond Soul Work, there are many similarities.

What does a typical individual session look like?

Because it uses many psychological methods, the Diamond Soul work looks a lot like regular psychotherapy. However, in addition to exploring mind and emotions, it gives equal space to states of Essence, and to the experiences of the body, including breathing, movement and tension patterns. And the overall focus is on exploring and understanding your issues at every level, thus supporting your spiritual unfoldment, rather than on making your life work better, although that also tends to happen.

How long are sessions, and how frequent are they?

Sessions are 1 hour long, and usually held every 1 to 2 weeks.

Where is your office?

My office is located near Mt Barker in the Adelaide Hills.

Can I do this work by Skype?

Yes, you can. With Skype you can do this work from anywhere in Australia - or any other country. Skype offers an excellent alternative when face to face meetings are not possible.

What is your sliding scale for fees?

I offer a sliding scale fee schedule, $70-95 per session. I am able to offer these relatively low fees because my costs are reduced by working from a home office. However, if these fees would still cause you hardship, please contact me to discuss your situation.

How do I pay you?

You can pay by cash or cheque. If you are working with me by Skype, you would pay using online bank transfer.

Can I get Australian Medicare coverage?

This work is a form of transpersonal psychology, which unfortunately is not a category of psychological service that attracts Medicare rebates.
